PSI AUDIO A21M

After meeting the PSI audio team at the MusikMesse in Frankfurt, and having read so many good reviews on these speakers, I decided to try the PSI Audio A21M.

What a wonderful surprise!

I dismount my Geithain RL940, plugs the PSI A21M. First impression is accurate, from the bottom to the top of the spectrum.

Then I start working a master, I realize very quickly that I can immediately find and identify the frequencies of resonance. The cleaning work in the low medium is very effective. If a mix sounds a little too metallic, it gets along very quickly and I can correct immediately. In short, the speakers are analytical and do not forgive a mix error.

This tool is formidable because I can hear all the problems of a mix (provided you have a good DA), I can dig and improve exactly as it should. This "translate" perfectly well on other listening systems. I took several mixes and masters made with Geithain RL940, I reworked them with PSI A21M. 100% success, the result is better, it's more fluid, dynamic, clear and balanced ....

The bass is precise, clear and massive if needed.

The other strong point, the stereo is very clear and stabilized. PSIs are worked with consistency in the range. We will find the same sound on each model with the bandwidth that depends on the model. It's transparent, with a minimum of distortion at high volume, it's fearsome (and cruel) truth.

A mix lack of bass? It sounds flat. A mix is ​​aggressive? It rubs the eardrums. These speakers like the right sound. They allow you to make the right decisions for a mix or a master. PSI audio is just the ultimate working tool for making, mixing and mastering. I recommend using the PSI with a Source DAC, Magic TPR cables and decoupling Bfly Master.
