Aktyna - Cortex Master Reference - RCA 1M

We received an RCA from a rather rare brand, the AKTYNA Cortex Master Reference.

Before installing them, telephone discussion with Aktyna designer Mr. Panayotis Gioulos. Then, I install its cables between the Maestro 4 and the amp, replacing the excellent Mad Scientist Black Magic RCAs.

The sound proposition changes a lot. The listening impression is clearer, in direct contact with the music, each element is better embodied with at the same time an immersive overall listening experience. The harmonic structure of the signal becomes clear, readable and less approximate. The bass takes its fullness, the midrange is fluid and we feel the coherence of the treble with very beautiful timbres.

We could summarize prosaically: a little more control and openness, finesse and transparency!

Mr. Aktyna explains to me that his research was to ensure that the cable had as little impact as possible on the signal, it does not remove anything, it does not add anything. This is what I feel when listening: total immersion and a feeling of freedom, of being in life, in a living sound in the biological, organic, close sense.
