AUDIOMAT - TEMPO 2.9

The AUDIOMAT Tempo 2.9 is the new version of Audiomat's entry-level converter. It is the little brother of the AUDIOMAT MAESTRO 4. The rendering is further improved by the modification of the analogue stages, and is adapted to the use of music files from computers or NAS servers with asynchronous USB outputs.

This DAC is one of the most natural and versatile of its generation. It can be gentle and precise on a string quartet, driving on rock, enveloping on electro.

The USB input is compatible with up to PCM 24/384 and DSD 64 and 128. This new USB input is equipped with an anti-jitter system (double quartz) superior to that used in the USB of previous generation Tempo, contributing to a significant reduction in jitter.

As it is superior to the Tempo 2.8, it replaces it in the Audiomat range.

Two boxes
This compact DAC takes up the idea of a power supply in a separate box, like the AUDIOMAT MAESTRO 4 Ethernet. From an electronic point of view, it differs from the Tempo C in that it has an oversized power supply, improved regulation, a more advanced choice of components and doubled quartz crystals.
